Luxurious small hotel in a peaceful location. Wonderful fish restaurant for dinner. - New-fashioned and neat room with extras like bottled water. - Location right by George for one night during a trip along the Garden Route. - Wooded garden and main commercial centre nearby.

Attractive setting. Helpful with booking dinner locally. Coped well at what was a challenging time for the family, indicating flexibility and concern to offer a good standards of service to guests.

It's not so much that we didn't like these things, but a) clearer directions on the booking site on how to find the Guest House would have helped and b) it might be sensible to tell guests about the pets, as someone with less well-controlled asthma than mine might struggle - in spite of really good efforts by the family to keep the dog/cats out of bedrooms.

Overall, it was a really nice experience. the hotel is fairly clean and has excellent facilities. - the staff is helpful and excellent. - the setting in a very quiet area is good. - It's a short walk to Wilderness, restaurants, and George centre. - the breakfast served in the garden was excellent.

Great attention to detail. Luxury accommodation with excellent detail to decoration made us feel as if we were at home. Comfortable bed and beautiful on-suite bathroom. We also had the use of a well-equipped kitchenette in our room. All possible facilities required were available. The attention to detail was continued during breakfasts with tasty and well prepared meals, served in style. The friendliness of the hosts made one feels part of the family. We loved the cats as there presence contributes to the homely atmosphere. Always a good sign - if the hosts are animal lovers it is a guarantee that they are warm-hearted people who'll care about the comfort of their guests. If one is not a cat lover the cats won't bother you as they are well-trained cats. I wish there was an Edenwood House in every city that I visit in the world!

In cold weather the bathroom was a little cold

I was offered a room with stunningly beautiful views over the beautiful garden and forest beyond. the hotel was in a stunning and favorable location, in a very quiet neighborhood. - It's really close to the main commercial center of George as well as the nature reserve.

We stayed only for one night. Our hosts were very friendly en helpfull. The room was very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was good.

Edenwood house is situated in a quiet environment. The suite is very spacious with a porch viewing the garden It is very clean with good kitchen facilities The value for money is excellent. Dawn, the owner, is very nice and friendly Breakfast in the morning was great and according to our special dietary request We highly recommend on Edenwood house

Enjoyed a comfortable overnight stay during our sixth or seventh visit and would definitely return; located in a beautiful spot near a nature reserve.
